Now Woodsy Craft Co. has branched into it’s own product line and can be found in stores around the Pacific Northwest + beyond!
The Woodsy Craft Co. started with the love of being creative and bringing people together. Each one of our craft kits is made to gather friends and families of all skill levels to make something unique and memorable.
Our DIY Garland kits are hand illustrated and hand crafted by us in Oregon. To this day, customers keep shopping at The Workshop to find our new designs!

how it all started…
Initially, Lindsey started the laser engraving business, Toasted Maple, from her garage. However, in December 2019, the business was expanding and she needed more space. Lindsey found a spot downtown The Dalles and thought it would be wasted potential to use it just for production, so we decided to open our retail store The Workshop. In The Workshop, we carry artisan goods and handmade laser engraved goods. This was the beginning of something transformative. When the pandemic hit, we wanted to create something for families to enjoy from the comfort of their home. This is when the idea for our DIY craft kits started to take off! When fall approached, we created our first ever garland, The Thankful garland kit. Quickly turning into a fan favorite amongst locals, we kept developing new designs, bringing more options and fun to the table. Through that, Woodsy Craft Co. was born.

BEHIND THE SCENES
How are Garland Kits made?
step one: design
Each garland kit is hand drawn and then made into a digital file. Once it’s a digital file, we set it up for our laser engraving machines.
step two: laser engraving
We send the files to our laser engraving machines and engrave the designs on maple wood. Once the designs are engraved then the machine cuts out the custom shapes!
step three: quality control
After being engraved + cut, the custom wood pieces are then inspected by our team for any abnormalities or blemishes.
step four: packaging
Our team puts together each garland kit by hand! We sticker the bags, add the individual inserts, felt balls, custom cutouts, needle + thread and finally the paint markers! When we say hand crafted - we mean it!
